Personal Log: Good Day to Dine, July 2012



This was a bit of an awkward one. When we were deciding on this GDtD venue, I was not aware of the type of eatery that this is. Now that I am aware that this would be "Hooters with kilts", I know that this affected turnout.

For the type of establishment, and catering very much to a male clientle, this would be a good place to go if you like that sort of thing and your parmachi does not object.

Members from the USS Navros and USS Regulator pretty much get credit for making up the constituency of this event. Nearly everybody was uniformed and two other klingons were present besides myself.

I don't remember what it was called, but I did enjoy my jalapeno burger and an O'douls.

We voted on the next place which shall be the Rudy's BBQ at I20 and Center streets in south Arlington. This one was suggested by Glen because both of our kids work there and it would be fun to terrorize them at work. Sunday, September 30th. 1500 hours.
