The IKV Melota attended the opening weekend (Saturday night) of Beyond. This was a mix of Class A and Class B uniforms.
Was somewhat (negatively) surprised by the turnout for the new movie. Maybe we chose the wrong theatre. Nobody commented about the uniforms. Grethor, there were only five other families besides the Melota group.

As one reviewer put it, "the really cool action was at the beginning, the rest was just filler". I must concur.

At least there were nods to episodes and a few movies. Even there, it felt weird. Kinda like jumble that made up ST:V. Movie had elements from too many other movies to really feel like one, planned storyline. We saw tearing through the guts of the Death Star. For a while, it felt as if "Avatar2". Hey, movie, what do you really want to be when you grow up?

"Beyond" Beyond what? Even the title makes no sense to me.

We came. We saw. We conquered.

Now, what we really need is "Axanar".
