Grup's Night Out, Feb 15th, 2003

This was our first Grup's Night Out.

No uniforms.
No headpieces.
NO KIDS!!!!

This was planned as a night together as adult friends and couples. We just wanted a time to go out and eat, drink and be merry without the hassles of uniforms and children.

We met at Evergreens Restaurant for their awesome buffet. Of course nobody was in uniform this time as that was part of this event. Turnout was wonderful. We had 23 members and guest mundanes present. Gads! We had some 5 mundane guests that I can remember.

We ate some really good food. We talked about nearly anything EXCEPT klingon stuff. I remember discussing avionics and paintball; and the womenfolk certainly were impressing some of their ideas of how men should behave. I'm sure that a lot more was discussed that I did not manage to overhear.

This was just a nice event to go out to dinner as couples, but going out together as friends. And this was done without the little liabilities so we could sit back and talk about anything and let our hair down.

We MUST do this again sometime this year.
