AER Good Day to Dine January 2006

The Membership of the Lone Star Warriors Association including the KAG ship IKV Melota were present.

We met this time at "The Rig" in south Fort Worth. Turnout was very good at 14 klingons plus 4 guest civilians. One of our guests was a professional photographer who will hopefully provide some good pictures of the evening. She was using a digital SLR with an attached flash. I’ll eventually create a 45 second to 1 minute movie to post.

All kinds of fun things were occurring. The food was good and the service was fine. The employees and many guests had a really good sense of humor and were asking questions. We got some decent hits from adults interested in our club. Dr. Gizmo had a chat with the bassist of Steppenwolf who was present to play adultery and western music that night as a guest guitarist with a local band. (If you don’t know what a Steppenwolf is, ask somebody old enough to know.)

We had a blast. We had good recruiting hits. We had fun discussing the 1970’s with a key man of the time. All in all, it was a Good Day to Dine.

The April GDtD shall be a bit of a walkabout through the West End of Dallas since our last walkabout was in Sundance Square of Fort Worth. Closer to that GDtD, train schedules shall be posted to coordinate arrival at the West End as well as allowing us to have a showing on the Trinity Railway Express and DART railways.
