AER Good Day to Dine July, 2006

This was the Lone Star Warrior's Association's July (2006) Good Day to Dine. (Lots of capital letters in one sentence...)

The KAG ship IKV Melota met with other klingons from around the DFW Metroplex as well as Federation and other guest attendees to once again make for a fine evening out in front of the mundanes.

Genghis Grill is a mongolian grill type of restaurant whereby you rumage a "buffet" of raw goods and hand them over to the cook for cooking. This is stir fry at its best! The event was schedule for relatively early in the day so that we could beat some of the rush hour crowds on both the roads and at the grill.

As usual at a Good Day to Dine, we met and talked about all kinds of stuff just having a good time together as friend while enjoying the food. Many conversations. Many overlapping conversations. Tech talk.

This was also the event whereby the "klingon gunboat" was introduced.

We did decide that with the price of petrol as bad as it is, we would choose a really cheap place for the next venue. We have a chain selected. Negotiations are underway on the specific venue of that restaurant chain.
