Talk about a surprise inside.
Without going into graphic, "X" rated detail (since I really did that on my first AER for this event), this is a first class production of the U.S.S. Joshua.
Squeeze and I attended and really missed the lovely Avalona. She is old enough now to have to work during these sorts of things. Still we had a great time.
I had no imagination. So I wore "Old Gold". However, the lovely Squeeze made an outfit to go with the "stars" theme.
I'm pretty much going to let the photos speak as the AER. However, I really appreciated the concept of the "holodeck" costume. You can be anything if you start out as a holodeck.
This year had more characters staying in character at the expense of fun and comfort during the night. "The Walker" did such a good job that I became convinced that this was a new USS Joshua member of which I had never met. And, the walker character was so real as to be convincing. I did not get a picture of her out of the "old lady" outfit, but this person is very healthy and very lovely in real life. .
