800*600

After Encounter Report: AER March 26th, 2005

This is titled as a day instead of an event because it was such a busy day.

leeching

First off, we had our regularly scheduled Blood Drive as we have to wait out the 60 day period after each donation. Those who could donate did.

radio remote

Those who could not went to Vandergriff Honda to gain visibility at a radio station's remote. Radio airtime is facetime before the masses.

Der Weinerschnitzel

Then we met at Der Weinerschnitzel to "refuel" after the bloodletting before heading to PuttPutt. Well, we did not quite make it to PuttPutt.

Bowling

Since PuttPutt was rained out, we went bowling still in full kit. This was a real blast as various mundanes would approach to find out who and what we are. The bowling itself was quite interesting as the skill at bowling varied greatly. Our K'bech got special instruction from the Management about waiting until the machine finishes cycling before attempting to bowl. That "WHACK" against the barrier seems to have gotten their attention.

All in all, we put ourselves before the masses for recognition and potential recruiting via the bowling and radio, and still managed to do "civil service" via the blood donations. Not a bad day, at all.
