All Warriors should pursue Kill Stripes, Battle Notches, and Strategy Marks. These are awards for performance. Without performance, we cannot operate. Be honorable. Be a leader. Be a supporting Warrior. This is what makes KAG fun.

However, there is something to be said for having an item to wear publicly on our Honor Sashes that shows our achievements. With this in mind, the ship's of the Cold Revenge Quadrant started creating campaign pins for our events. These are items which can be worn on our uniforms and banners.

In some cases, there may be more than one type of pin. At the IKV Melota's Batleth Tournaments, Combatants and Non-Combatants have different pins. But, everybody at an event gets a campaign pin. There are different pins for Melota members and guests for our Klingon Ball. But, everybody at an event gets a campaign pin. The IKV Bayou Serpent and IKV Deliverance have pins floating about. Everybody at the Deliverance Wars received a Deliverance Wars pin. Everybody at the IKV Bayou Serpent's Venom Wars gets a campaign pin.
The key returning phrase here is, "everybody at an event gets a campaign pin.".

This photo has a mix of IKV Deliverance, IKV Melota, and IKV Bayou Serpent campaign pins. Click on the thumbnail to see a really big photo. There will be differences in quality level as our technologies progress for each ship. Some of the early IKV Melota awards look pretty grim compared to today's awards. The IKV Deliverance and IKV Bayou Serpent geared up pretty damn fast producing some outstanding pins very quickly.
